A mount with two separate damping stages between the bar and the phone. Damping is not optional on a motorcycle: sustained high-frequency vibration from a single-cylinder engine is what damages phone camera stabilisation, and two stages absorb more of it than one. Two stages of damping also work across a wider frequency range than one, which is what makes the difference between a smooth twin and a single-cylinder commuter engine.

Care & Use
Rubber dampers harden with age and heat; replace the mount when they no longer compress under thumb pressure. No damper removes vibration entirely, so a phone you cannot replace should not live on a handlebar. Check clamp tension weekly.
